Synopsis

Robert and Krishaun, two young men from Chicago, face significant challenges as they complete their high school senior year and progress through four years of college. Filmed over five and a half years, the documentary follows their lives in low-income, high-risk communities where fewer than 50% of young men graduate high school. With support from family, teachers, and community, they strive to become the first in their families to escape poverty and secure a place in the middle class.
