Synopsis

In Weesp, a new shelter opens its doors to Ukrainian refugees. Filmmakers Petra Lataster-Czisch and Peter Lataster document the arrival of families carrying household goods and suitcases. Children fill the space with laughter as staff members furnish the rooms. A large kitchen, equipped with a stovetop and a fridge organized for each family, serves as the heart of the shelter. As the tenants settle in, a sense of community begins to form in this supportive environment.
