Synopsis
Snieguolė Michelkevičiūtė began her photography series Women on Men in 1977. The series features nudes of older men and stood out in the artistic environment of the time. For years, Michelkevičiūtė’s work was considered unusual and largely ignored. Aktas documents her creative process and the tension between the artist and her subject. The film runs for 25 minutes and was released in 2000.
