Synopsis

In January 2005, the coastal villages of Thailand face the aftermath of the devastating Tsunami. Local fishermen, including Ari Fongsaten, struggle with fear and loss as they look out to a sea that has become a source of distrust. Ari, who is fortunate to be alive, finds his boat destroyed and his means of earning an income vanished. The demand for fish has plummeted, as many locals worry that the fish may have fed on the bodies of the deceased. The once self-reliant communities now grapple with the psychological and economic impacts of the disaster, highlighting the profound changes in their way of life.
