Synopsis

Volodymyr Melnichenko continues to fight for recognition in Kyiv, Ukraine, decades after the destruction of the Wall of Memory in 1986. This artwork, the largest in Europe at the time, erased the names of its creators, Melnichenko and Ada Rybachuk, from art history. Despite years of resistance from authorities and attempts to reclaim their studio in 2004, Melnichenko perseveres. Over eight years, a film crew documents his struggle and the involvement of a new generation in restoring their legacy.
