Synopsis
Abu Haraz is a village along the banks of the River Nile in Sudan. The community lives a simple life, closely tied to their land and traditions. A large dam is set to be built, threatening to flood their homes and disrupt their way of life. As construction looms, villagers confront the emotional and practical challenges of displacement. The documentary captures their experiences and the conflict between development and cultural identity in a changing environment. Directed by Maciej J. Drygas, it runs for 72 minutes.
