Synopsis
Lúcia Rocha, 84, enters a São Paulo hospital for heart tests. After learning about the risks to her life, she tells the doctor, "Then open it." This marks her second bypass surgery. Filmmaker Joel Pizzini joins Lúcia to capture her memories using a mini camera. The documentary Abry features her reflections on Brazilian cinema, weaving together sounds, images, and the characters she encountered throughout her life. The film runs for 31 minutes and was released in 2003.
