Synopsis

Southall, a significant center for Asian communities in Britain, faced a series of fascist attacks from 1976 to 1981. The local community organized resistance efforts during this period, drawing on a history of activism that began in the 1950s. Community organizations formed to assist workers in combating workplace racism and addressing discrimination. As tensions escalated, residents developed new strategies to confront the growing threat of racism and violence in their neighborhoods.
