Synopsis
Mutang returns to his forest village in Sarawak, Malaysia, after years of exile. He left in 1992, having been a voice for indigenous rights. Now, he finds a community changed. Family members who once supported him at blockades now welcome timber companies. Despite the risk of arrest, Mutang feels compelled to fight for his home. A Time to Swim follows his struggle to reconnect with a place where traditions and identity are fading. The film runs for 82 minutes and was released in 2017.
