Synopsis
Barbara Hammer spent a month in 1998 at the C Scape Duneshack in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, during an artist residency managed by the Provincetown Community Compact. Living without modern conveniences, she filmed with a Beaulieu camera and recorded sounds on a cassette recorder. In 2018, facing her own mortality, Hammer revisited her archives. She collaborated with filmmaker Lynne Sachs to create a work reflecting on her experiences and the moments she captured.
