Synopsis
Hu Ding-yi, Taiwan's leading foley artist, recreates sound effects in his studio using everyday objects. Director Wang Wan-jo captures Hu's decades-long dedication to the craft. The film also reflects on the golden age of Taiwanese cinema and the changes in the Greater China film industry. In 2017, Hu received a Lifetime Achievement prize at the Golden Horse Awards for his contributions to sound design in filmmaking. The documentary runs for 100 minutes and is presented in Mandarin.
