Using his signature melancholic collage style, Lei Lei weaves together screenshots, found photos, and propaganda images. The film distorts time, presenting a visual narrative that questions how personal memories shape perceptions of truth. "A Bright Summer Diary" runs for 27 minutes and was released in 2020.
