Synopsis

Freediving champion Jessea Lu faced a life-threatening blackout during a world-record attempt, remaining unconscious for four minutes. In "7 Beats Per Minute," director Yuqi Kang documents Lu's return to the site of her near-fatal experience as she addresses the psychological impact of that day. The film examines her path to recovery and her efforts to reconnect with both herself and the sport she is passionate about. Co-produced by Intuitive Pictures Inc., the documentary provides an in-depth look at resilience in the face of trauma.
