Emad Burnat, a farmer in the Palestinian village of Bil'in, begins filming in 2005 to document the birth of his son, Gibreel. As he captures daily life, he also records the nonviolent protests against the Israeli army's actions in the area. The film shows the destruction of olive trees, the impact on local families, and the construction of a wall separating communities. Each of Burnat's five broken cameras represents a significant moment in his community's struggle for land and identity.
