Jonas Mekas began the 365 Day Project on January 1, 2007. Each day, he released a new short film online, with lengths varying from one to twenty minutes. Over the course of the year, Mekas created nearly thirty-eight hours of film. The project reflects his daily experiences and thoughts. It invites public engagement through a digital exhibition format, connecting friends and strangers alike with his personal narrative.
