Synopsis
Romain Goupil traveled to Kyiv on 24 February 2022 as Russia invaded Ukraine. He aimed to support the Ukrainian resistance by documenting life during the conflict. Arriving without a place to stay, he found refuge with a circus troupe. Over the next month, Goupil filmed the lives of circus performers and their animals amid the dangers of war. The film captures their daily experiences in a city facing attacks.
