Go deeperWaad al-Kateab documents her life in Aleppo during the Syrian Civil War from 2011 to 2016. An economics student turned journalist, she marries Hamza al-Kateab, a doctor at one of the few remaining hospitals in the city. As they raise their daughter, Sama, the couple faces a critical choice: flee to safety or stay behind to aid those affected by the escalating conflict. The film captures their personal struggles amid the backdrop of the Battle of Aleppo.
