When Hatari, a controversial BDSM techno band, represented Iceland at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, they decided to criticize Israel’s treatment of Palestinians by staging one of the most internationally televised live political protests in the competition’s history. Tracking the band’s voyage from Reykjavik to Tel Aviv and Hebron, this film examines how these young artists cope with criticism coming from all sides, as well as explores the role of art as an agent of change.
