
Julia Sondermann
Julia Sondermann (born December 24, 1994, in Porto Alegre, Brazil) is a Brazilian film director and screenwriter. She directed award-winning short films such as Sob a pele de Vênus (2016) and O Gosto do Cloro (2016), which represented Brazil at BoliviaLab. A co‑founder of Lumine, Brazil’s leading Catholic streaming platform, she co-directed its first original series, Filhos de Cister, and later directed docudramas like Apóstolo do Brasil: a missão de São José de Anchieta (2021). She also created children’s series like Cidade Amarela, and collaborated on works such as Na Mesa com os Santos and A Via Sacra.
