Craig Parker

Craig is a South African storyteller with his feet rooted firmly in a background of visual effects. He is CEO of Motif Studios in Cape Town specializing in animation and visual effects post-production. He is also one of the key leaders of a joint collaboration called 'Brave New World' - a collective aimed at bringing South African animators, VFX outfits and artists together on local and internationally-produced features. He has worked primarily in animation and transitioned into the world of directing live action and delivering high-end visual effects for commercials and television. He plans, scripts and shoots with post production in mind and can deliver on his vision every time. He has supervised visual effects for feature films and has won numerous awards for his work, both locally and internationally. Besides the role of director, Craig also co-wrote the screenplay for his short film: 'Recovery' - which has featured in several international film festivals, including Durban Film Festival, Shnit and LA Shorts. Recent projects: Visual effects shots on Warner Bros-produced: 'Mad Max: Fury Road', starring Tom Hardy & Charlize Theron and 'Grimsby' starring Sasha Baron Cohen, Penelope Cruz & Mark Strong.
