The film captures their performances aboard the steamboat SS Heinävesi during the 'Tuuliajolla' tour around Lake Saimaa. The film's original title, Saimaa-ilmiö, is a reference to the Finnish translation of the 1979 film The China Syndrome. It may also draw inspiration from the Eppu Normaali song Suomi-ilmiö. The documentary provides a unique look at the Finnish rock scene of the early 1980s, showcasing the cultural context and musical expressions of the time.
