Stripped is a documentary that examines the evolution of comic strips from traditional newspaper formats to digital platforms. The film began production in 2010, initially focusing on cartoonists in their studios. It features interviews with over 70 comic creators discussing their craft and the future of comics in the 21st century. Notably, Bill Watterson, the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, contributed the poster art for Stripped, marking his first published work since 1995. The film was funded through Kickstarter and was released on the iTunes Store on April 1, 2014.
