Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives features American musician Mark Oliver Everett discussing his father, physicist Hugh Everett III, and his many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. The film includes interviews with physicists and former colleagues of Hugh Everett, providing insights into the scientific theories his father proposed. The documentary is directed by Louise Lockwood and was broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC Four in 2007.
The American premiere occurred at the 2008 World Science Festival in New York City. The documentary was later aired on PBS's Nova program on October 21, 2008, with a version narrated by journalist Stefanie E. Frame. The British version features narration by Annie Mac.
