On the Line is a 2011 Canadian documentary directed by Frank Wolf. It investigates the risks and consequences of the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines project. The film follows two friends on a 2,400 km biking, hiking, rafting, and kayaking trip from the Alberta oil sands to the British Columbia coast, where they encounter various individuals who share their perspectives on the pipeline issues.
The documentary features music from artists such as Peirson Ross and Terry Jacks. It won the 'Spirit of Action Prize' at the 2012 Santa Cruz Film Festival and was part of the VIFF Selects section at the 2011 Vancouver International Film Festival. The film aired multiple times on CBC's documentary channel in Canada through 2015.
