Ocean Giants is a British nature documentary series that focuses on the lives of dolphins and whales. Narrated by Stephen Fry, the series consists of three one-hour episodes: Giant Lives, Deep Thinkers, and Voices of the Sea. The first episode centers on humpback and blue whales, while the second examines the cognitive abilities of dolphins. The final episode investigates the vocalizations of these marine mammals. Produced by the BBC Natural History Unit, the series features cinematographers Doug Allen and Didier Noirot, both known for their work in marine environments. The series premiered on 14 August 2011 and was released on DVD and Blu-ray on 6 March 2012, specifically for the United States market.
