N.Y.H.C. is a documentary directed by Frank Pavich that focuses on the New York hardcore music scene of the mid-1990s. Filmed in 1995, it features interviews and live performances from seven prominent bands, including Madball, Vision of Disorder, and 25 ta Life. The film captures the diversity of the scene, showcasing participants from various backgrounds, including suburban Long Island youth and Bronx inner-city residents. The documentary was completed and self-released on VHS in 1999, later acquired for distribution by HALO 8 Entertainment in 2007. A two-disc special edition DVD was released in 2008, which included previously unreleased footage and interviews filmed ten years after the original release. Notably, Roger Miret from Agnostic Front is featured in a wheelchair due to a vertebrae injury sustained at a show.
