Lucio is a 2007 Spanish documentary that follows the life of anarchist Lucio Urtubia. The film combines dramatization, Urtubia's own recollections, and statements from others to present a comprehensive view of his experiences. It begins with a personal tragedy, as Urtubia's father, suffering from cancer, asks him to end his life to alleviate his pain. After completing part of his compulsory military service, Urtubia goes into exile in Paris, where he becomes involved with the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo trade union. Notably, Urtubia, a bricklayer, is known for forging traveller's cheques, which he used to defraud Citibank, showcasing his radical approach to financial systems.
