Living Memory
The Living Memory Project commemorates the 70th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War by recording testimonies from Spanish exiles and victims of the Mauthausen Nazi extermination camp. The documentary features extensive interviews and historical accounts that capture the essence of Spanish anarcho-syndicalism. It was funded by the CNT (Confederación Nacional del Trabajo) in celebration of its 100th anniversary, facilitating a journey of 12,000 km across three countries. With the support of CNT and Malicious Films GuerrillART, the project amassed 80 hours of recorded interviews and 300 hours of transcribed testimonies. These materials are preserved at the Anselmo Lorenzo Foundation. The documentary does not include actors, relying entirely on the authentic voices of individuals who experienced these historical events.
