Film Lens

Into the Wind tells the story of Terry Fox, who in 1980 began his run across Canada to raise awareness and funds for cancer research after losing his right leg to osteosarcoma. At just 21 years old, Fox aimed to cover more than a marathon each day, starting from St. John's, Newfoundland, and targeting Victoria, British Columbia. His endeavor, known as the Marathon of Hope, began with little recognition but grew as he ran, capturing the hearts of Canadians nationwide.
Over 143 days, Fox managed to run two-thirds of the way across Canada, inspiring many with his determination. Unfortunately, his journey was cut short due to newly discovered tumors.
