Human is a documentary directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, released in 2015. It features aerial footage and first-person narratives from over 2000 individuals across 60 countries. Each interviewee answered the same set of forty questions, presented against a plain black background to emphasize shared human experiences rather than individual identities. The film premiered at the United Nations General Assembly Hall, attended by 1,000 viewers including UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. It was financed by the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation and made available for free through the GoodPlanet Foundation. The film's distribution strategy aimed to reach a broad audience, with simultaneous screenings on YouTube, at the Venice Biennale, and in over 400 theaters in France on its release date.
