This narrative intertwines with the real-life story of marijuana advocate Roger Christie and his THC Ministry, adding a layer of social commentary to the comedic elements.
Directed by Wayne Darwen, who also stars as the lead character Dave High, the film features a cast that includes Henry Goren as Roland Jointz. The film was produced by Darwen and Goren alongside Burt Kearns. It premiered at the Action on Film International Film Festival in August 2014 and was later recognized at the Cannabis Film Festival in May 2015, where it won the Viewers' Choice Award.
