Heima is a documentary about the summer 2006 tour of the band Sigur Rós across Iceland. The film features both large open-air concerts at Miklatún in Reykjavík on July 30 and Ásbyrgi on August 4, along with smaller performances in locations such as Ólafsvík, Ísafjörður, and Seyðisfjörður. The documentary also includes a protest concert against the Kárahnjúkar dam held at Snæfellsskála on August 3, showcasing the band's connection to the Icelandic landscape and culture. In addition to concert footage, Heima presents an intimate acoustic concert for family and friends at Gamla Borg, a coffee shop in Borg, on April 22, 2007. The film premiered at the Reykjavík International Film Festival on September 27, 2007, and was released on DVD in November 2007, featuring a photobook with atmospheric photos from the tour. The documentary has been recognized for its artistic value, earning accolades such as the DVD of the Year from Somewhere Cold webzine in December 2007.
