Efterlyst is a Swedish TV program that uses security camera footage and crime reconstructions to gather public tips on criminal cases. Hosted by Hasse Aro, the show has played a significant role in capturing some of Sweden's most wanted criminals since it started. The program was initially supported by crime expert Leif G W Persson until 2009, and later included former State Police Chief Tommy Lindström in 2010, followed by Jens Lapidus and Thomas Bodström in 2011. By 2012, Bodström became the sole expert commentator. Known in Swedish prisons as 'Golartimmen' or 'Snitch-hour', Efterlyst has successfully generated numerous leads that have led to important arrests, making it a crucial element in Sweden's crime-fighting efforts. The program's approach combines real-life footage with dramatizations to engage the audience and encourage public participation in solving crimes.
