Died Young, Stayed Pretty is a documentary focusing on underground indie-rock poster art and its subculture. The film received recognition at various film festivals, including the 2009 SXSW Film Festival and the 2008 Montreal World Film Festival. It opened theatrically at the IFC Center in New York City and is part of the permanent collection at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. The documentary combines visual art with music, featuring original tracks by Mark Greenberg of The Coctails and appearances by Brian Chippendale of Lightning Bolt.
