Dear Jackie is a Canadian documentary directed by Henri Pardo, released in 2021. The film serves as a love letter to Jackie Robinson, focusing on his time with the Montreal Royals in the 1940s. It examines how Montreal used Robinson's presence to create a narrative of itself as a post-racial city, despite the ongoing racism faced by Black residents in the Little Burgundy neighborhood.
The documentary premiered at the 2021 Montreal International Documentary Festival, where Pardo received the Magnus Isacsson Award for socially conscious works by emerging Canadian filmmakers. It was later commercially released in June 2022 and was nominated for the Donald Brittain Award at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023.
