Cloud, Encore is a South Korean documentary directed by Jung Sung-il, focusing on filmmaker Im Kwon-taek. The film was shot in 2012 during the production of Im's 102nd feature, Revivre, which was released in 2014. It provides an in-depth look at Im's filmmaking journey, capturing his methods and experiences from start to finish.
The documentary made its world premiere at the 23rd Busan International Film Festival in 2018. This film marks Jung's third feature and his second documentary on a filmmaker, following his work on Wang Bing in Night and Fog in Zona (2015). The production of Cloud, Encore took longer than Jung initially anticipated.
