The documentary shows the traditional lifestyle of the Duru people, who rely on fishing and farming for sustenance in a village of about 100 inhabitants in Northern Cameroon.
In his quest, Kilo and his uncle Dina consult a sorcerer for protection against the mythical dangers associated with the python they intend to hunt. The film captures their search through the savannah, emphasizing the blend of practical hunting techniques and local folklore, including the belief in a powerful king of the giant snakes. As Kilo and Dina dig for the python, they encounter various obstacles, illustrating the challenges of their environment and the intertwining of daily survival with cultural beliefs.
