Beyond the Arctic follows a team consisting of entrepreneur Kevin Lin, athlete Albert Liu, and student Tommy Chen from Taiwan as they participate in the 2008 Polar Challenge. This race spans 600 kilometers to the Magnetic North Pole, where the team faces extreme conditions and personal trials. The film captures their aspirations and the harsh realities of the Arctic environment.
Throughout the race, the team encounters hypothermia and polar bear attacks, emphasizing the dangers of their undertaking. Directed by Yang Li-Chou, the 75-minute film presents a vivid portrayal of their experiences in one of the most challenging terrains on Earth.
