Believer is a documentary that examines the relationship between LGBT individuals and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through the perspective of Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons. The film centers around his efforts to organize the LOVELOUD Festival in Orem, Utah, aimed at supporting LGBTQ youth in the state. It features footage from various locations, including Salt Lake City, Orem, New York City, and Las Vegas, where Reynolds was born in 1987. The film includes music composed by Hans Zimmer, and Reynolds contributed two original songs for the project. In January 2018, HBO Documentary Films acquired the US distribution rights.
