After Winter, Spring is a 2012 documentary directed by Judith Lit, set in the Périgord region of southwest France. Lit, who moved to a small town in the region in 1999, draws parallels between the farming communities in Périgord and her hometown in Pennsylvania, intertwining her personal narrative with the stories of the farmers.
The documentary features a diverse cast, including Nanou Bouchat and Charlotte Brajot, and is produced by Terra Production and Dublin Films. The film runs for 75 minutes and premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival on October 8, 2012. It has been screened in multiple countries and received several awards, including Best Foreign Documentary at the Arizona International Film Festival.
